* Swallowing Gum
Gum is designed to be chewed and not swallowed, but it isn't harmful if you accidentally swallow it. Folklore suggests that swallowed gum will sit in your stomach for seven years before being digested. Your body can not digest gum, but the gum doesn't sit in your stomach. It progresses relatively intact through the digestive tract and is excreted in your stool, just like everything else you eat and drink. On rare occasions, children who swallow large amounts of gum, combined with constipation, can cause intestinal blockage, a partial or complete blockage of the small or large intestine that prevents food, fluids, and gas from moving through the intestines in the normal way. 11

There are no two snow crystals alike, according to cloud physicists, crystallographers, and meteorologists who study snow crystals. The probability that two snow crystals will be exactly alike, in molecular structure and in appearance, is very minute. And to prove otherwise would not be easy. 1
* Funny Bone
The funny bone got its nickname because of that funny feeling you get after you hit the inside of your elbow in just the right spot. The funny bone isn't actually a bone at all. It's a nerve running down the inside part of your elbow called the ulnar nerve. You get that temporary pain and tingling feeling when the ulnar nerve is bumped against the humerus bone, the long bone that starts at your elbow and goes up to your shoulder. Hitting your funny bone will not do any damage to your elbow, arm, or the ulnar nerve. 12
